68th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards telah dilaksanakan pada 18 September 2016 di Microsoft Theater, Los Angeles, California dan disiarkan melalui stasiun televisi ABC.

Ajang penghargaan bagi serial drama televisi Amerika ini dipandu oleh Jimmy Kimmel.

Tahun ini, HBO jadi jawara dengan meraih total 22 penghargaan dan Game of Thrones sukses dengan membawa pulang 12 penghargaan. Tidak hanya tahun ini, mereka mendominasi Emmy’s secara 2 tahun berturut-turut, lho!
