In recognition of International Women’s Day happening on 8 March 2022, Raffles Jakarta and Veuve Clicquot celebrate the resilience of Jakarta’s underprivileged women with a special collaboration with JKT.Creative. Founded by Iwet Ramadhan in 2019, JKT.Creative aims to empower the community bybridging the gap between the creative professionals and subsidised housing (rusun) residents. The renowned radio announcer and batik designer is actively working with 40 women from five subsidised housings in Jakarta, training them to sew and craft.
