Pemenang Black Entertainment Television (BET) Awards 2022 telah diumumkan pada Minggu (26/6). Acara yang diselenggarakan di Microsoft Theater, Los Angeles, Amerika Serikat ini diadakan sebagai perayaan komunitas Afrika-Amerika di bidang musik, film, olahraga, dan hiburan lainnya.
Pagelaran BET Awards 2022 dipandu oleh Taraji P. Henson. Sejumlah musisi turut diundang dalam BET Awards 2022 seperti Lizzo, Brandy dan Jack Harlow, hingga Mariah Carey dan Latto.
Silk Sonic mampu mendominasi peraih piala terbanyak di BET Awards tahun ini. Beberapa piala yang berhasil diborong oleh Silk SOnic, diantaranya Best Group, Video of the Year, dan Album of The Year. Sementara piala Video Director of the Year diraih oleh salah satu personelnya, Anderson .Paak.
Menariknya, aktor yang menuai kontroversi di penghargaan Oscar 2022, Will Smith juga mampu membawa pulang piala di BET Awards 2022. Will Smith menang dalam kategori Best Actor. Sementara film yang dibintangi oleh WIll Smith, yakni King Richard juga membawa pulang piala dalam kategori Best Movie.
