The GREAT Britain Week

Dari tanggal 17 September 2013 sampai 22 September 2013 mendatang, untuk para pecinta Great Britain harus banget datang ke event yang diadakan oleh British Embassy Jakarta ini, The GREAT Britain Week. Sebuah acara yang bertujuan untuk mengenalkan wilayah kerajaan ini dari banyak aspek kepada masyarakat luas sekaligus menjalin hubungan kerjasama bilateral antara Indonesia dengan Inggris.

GREAT Britain Week selama 6 hari ini menyuguhkan beberapa ‘aktivitas’ seru seperti:

Dan pada Rabu, 18 September 2013, Pangeran Andrew, putra kedua Ratu Elizabeth II dan Pangeran Philip membuka acara The GREAT Britain Week. Selama berada di Jakarta, selain untuk menghadiri pembukaan acara ini, Pangeran Andrew juga datang untuk menjalin hubungan bilateral di bidang perdagangan, investasi, ilmu pengetahuan, inovasi, dan pendidikan. Rencananya ia akan menemui Wakil Presiden, Boediono, Menteri Kordinator Perekonomian, Hatta Rajasa, dan Menteri Perdagangan, Gita Wirjawan. Pemerintah Inggris berkomitmen memperkuat hubungan dengan Pemerintah Indonesia dengan meningkatnya perdagangan kedua negara menjadi 4,4 juta Poundsterling.
