Yap, film The Hunger Games: Catching Fire melangkah percaya diri dengan membawa tiga piala MTV Movie Awards, Minggu 13 April 2014 lalu.
Film yang mengusung tema sci-fi adventure ini memang berada di puncak kejayaannya. Bahkan film ini bisa mengalahkan pemenang Oscar tahun ini yaitu 12 Years A Slave.
Tak hanya mendapat penghargaan sebagai film terbaik tahun ini, para pemain pun turut membawa pulang piala. Jennifer Lawrence sebagai Katniss Everdeen memenangkan kategori pemeran wanita terbaik dan Josh Hutcherson sebagai Peeta Mellark memenangkan kategori pemeran laki-laki terbaik.
Film lain yang meraih penghargaan adalah The Wolf of Wall Street dan film We’re the Millers. Ya anggap saja kemenangan The Wolf of The Wall Street ini menebus kekalahan setelah pulang dengan tangan kosong dari ajang Oscar kemarin.
